On March 19th, Yumeyakata appeared in NHK's "Cool Japan" program! "Cool Japan" is a popular program where foreigners and hosts discuss about a specific topic and decide which of the introduced places and activities are cool or not. The program topic on that day was "Charms of Kyoto Chosen by Foreigners". "Tanabata of Kyoto" to be held for the eighth time this year. A light up event will be held to celebrate the summer evenings at various places in the city, mainly at the two venues of Horikawa and Kamogawa. Dates and times will vary depending on the venue
The highlights of the Horikawa site are "light tunnel" which imaged the Milky Way floating in the night sky. A fantastic scenery wrapped in bright blue light lasts about 50 meters.

One of the towers, Nin Tokuin, known as the place where Nene spent his last years and ended, held the "Hyakka Night Exhibition" gathering fierce rubbish gathering chills at this time of summer.
