Foliage at Jojakko-ji Temple

If you ask me what is the best season in Kyoto, I would answer it's the autumn foliage season.

This year again, I visited a lot of places to see beautiful autumn leaves. Above all, the best spot for me was Jojakko-ji temple located at the hillside of Mt. Ogura in Arashiyama district.

You'll see the NIOH-MON gate and the main hall covered with many kinds of maple trees all in red and gold. As you reach TAHOTO tower, the panoramic view of SAGANO area is spread in front of you.

Viewing the most wonderful foliage in the most beautiful city Kyoto. Isn't it luxury?
